1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing circuit-board-design.com or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of Electuni LLC.
2. Services Provided
We provide professional electronics engineering services, including but not limited to:
- PCB Layout and Design
- Schematic Capture
- BOM Optimization
- Prototyping Consultation
3. Quotes and Payments
- Estimates: Quotes provided are estimates based on the initial information submitted. We reserve the right to revise quotes if project scope changes (e.g., increased complexity, additional layers).
- Payment Terms: 50% upfront, 50% upon completion is required before project commencement unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
- Client Ownership: Upon full payment, the Client owns all rights, title, and interest in the final deliverables created specifically for the Client.
- Our Rights: Electuni LLC retains the right to use general knowledge, skills, and code snippets/libraries developed prior to or during the project that are not specific to the Client's proprietary product (background IP).
- Portfolio: We reserve the right to display the completed PCB design in our portfolio unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been signed preventing such display.
5. Revisions and Acceptance
The Client is responsible for reviewing all designs (schematics, layouts) prior to manufacturing. We provide 2 rounds of revisions to correct errors or make minor adjustments. Major scope changes will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
6. Limitation of Liability
Electuni LLC is not liable for:
- Manufacturing errors caused by third-party fabrication houses.
- Design failures resulting from incorrect specifications provided by the Client.
- Any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the use of our designs. You are responsible for final validation and testing of the prototype.
7. Governing Law
